Ginnette Williams
Director/Designated Safeguarding Lead
Having worked in education throughout her professional career, Ginnette's passion lies with supporting young people to achieve, believe, and empower them to overcome individual barriers.
Ginnette's experience gained through her educational career includes senior management, head of year, safeguarding and pastoral welfare team lead.
Within these significant roles she has been instrumental in developing techniques to improve welfare and support for young people throughout education. Ensuring the correct procedures are adopted at all levels of management and support.
She is passionate about enhancing communication, importantly providing young people a voice.
Ginnette founded Contact Success in 2023.
PJ Dundass
Programme Manager
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
PJ Dundass is a professional dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals from all walks of life, possessing a deep passion for mentorship, personal development, and education. Having achieved both Undergraduate and Master's degrees he began by mentoring athletes of various ages and backgrounds from professional, collegiate to amateur in the United States. His focus being on improving their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being.
Furthermore, he held the role of Sport Science Support Officer at the University of Exeter, supporting the development of well-being plans for student-athletes, promoting long-term health and success in sports and academics. Alongside this, he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Western Storm, where he introduced innovative ideas and data-driven approaches that led to the team becoming the most successful in the KIA Super League's history.
PJ's commitment to empowering and supporting young individuals aligns with Contact Success's mission of specialising in alternative provision to assist youths on their path, with a core emphasis on the three 'Ps' - Personality, Praise, and Perseverance and helping the team provide the tools to empower young people to achieve their own success and potential.
Molly Mary Simmons
Programme Manager
Molly is a Level 3 qualified Forest School Teacher who has been running her own Forest School sessions for over seven years now. She has worked across Europe, Cornwall, North Wales and now Devon, running Nature Therapy and Mental Health workshops, map-making workshops as well as creating and hosting treasure hunts across land and sea.
She has experience nurturing children with ADHD, SEND, Autism, SEMH and challenging behaviour.
Before becoming a Forest School Teacher, Molly had a seven-year background in Event Management, Events Designing, Costume designing and working within Theatre stage design. She studied Sustainable Event Management at The Eden Project, where her tapestry for Forest School began to grow.
Orpheus
Orpheus is Molly’s Therapy Dog. He is half Golden retriever, half Pyrenees mountain dog. Molly adopted Orphie from Bulgaria almost three years ago now and last year, he became a fully qualified Therapy dog to walk beside Molly and wildlings in the woods. His gentle nature makes his presence a very special one and he’s excited to share his days with the children.
Gary Powell
Support Worker
Gary joined Contact Success as a support worker in November 2023. He previously served in the Royal Marines for 27 years attaining the rank of Warrant Officer, spending a lot of time serving onboard Royal Navy ships.
He retired from the Royal Marines in 1993 and worked in civilian employment in various roles, but none could give him the satisfaction of his forces career.
He joined the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary and worked as a bobby on the beat, a rewarding career with its own challenges. After serving for 17 years, he got to retirement age and so had to leave. He worked as a volunteer then an employed support worker at a residential farm for adults with learning and physical difficulties, before moving to agency care work.
At the end of 2023 Gary was getting ready for a change so came to work for Contact Success. He enjoys the great outdoors and using his service skills to enhance the self esteem and self confidence of the students.
He is married with two grown up children and has a Sprocker Spaniel which they take for long walks. He is also a freelance photographer when not working for Contact Success.
Natasha Vicary
Support Worker
Natasha joined Contact Success in 2023 as a 1:1 mentor. Previous to that Natasha has worked in many different settings as a senior, supporting mainly adults with mental health and learning disabilities. She has experience working with individuals with ADHD, SEND, Autism, SEMH and challenging behaviour. Before finding her career in social care Natasha studied drama at a foundation level through Plymouth University with the hope of working with young children with SEND needs.
Natasha is passionate about helping young people understand their emotions, helping them regain confidence and overcome barriers. She understands the importance of listening to our young people and working with their families to help give them the best support possible.
Stacey Brooks
Support Worker
Stacey joined Contact Success in early 2024 as support at our Poltimore provision, alongside her role as a 1:1 mentor.
Stacey has a lot of experience supporting individuals with ADHD, ASD, PDA, and SEMH. She prides herself in providing a calm approach when supporting our students.
Stacey has always had a huge passion for helping individuals experiencing challenges, namely children, helping them navigate through each stage in a safe, healthy way. Providing them with the coping skills needed in adulthood.
Stacey promotes confidence building, personal development, and emotion management, the importance of feeling our emotions, and how to manage them healthily.
SEND Support
Contact Success supports a range of learners with or without identified SEN and those with EHCP’s (Education, Health and Care Plans), and are delighted to be working with SEND Consultant Jessica Baker. Find out more below:
